Terms of Service
Effective May 11, 2026.
1. Who we are
GeoLocity is operated by Blind Spot Intelligence LLC(“GeoLocity,” “we,” “us”). By using this site or any service we provide (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.
2. What GeoLocity is — and is not
GeoLocity is information and research built from publicly-available geological and land data, primarily sourced from the U.S. Geological Survey, federal agencies, and licensed third-party data providers.
GeoLocity is not:
- A real-estate brokerage or licensed real-estate service
- A law firm; we do not provide legal advice
- A title company; we do not perform title searches
- A tax or investment advisor
- An appraisal or valuation service
Outputs of the Service — including any subsurface signal report, mineral-rights indication, or proximity result — are screening information only. They are not authoritative findings. Any decision with legal, financial, or transactional consequence requires confirmation by a licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. Data sources and accuracy
We aggregate data from public and licensed sources, including but not limited to U.S. Geological Survey (MRDS, Earth MRI), the U.S. Census Bureau, Mapbox (geocoding), and ATTOM Data (parcel records). We do our best to present this data accurately and to attribute it to its source. We do not guarantee that the data is complete, current, or error-free.
Coverage varies by county and by data type. The absence of a result does not prove absence in the underlying source data.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to scrape, mirror, or republish underlying data feeds in violation of their licensing terms
- Use automated tools to issue queries beyond posted rate limits
- Misrepresent Service outputs as official, authoritative, or attorney-reviewed when they are not
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or otherwise harm another person or property owner
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, brand, written copy, and curated organization of public data, is owned by GeoLocity. Underlying public data (e.g., USGS) remains in the public domain and is attributed where practical. Licensed third-party data is used under our agreements with those providers.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeoLocity, its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your access to or use of the Service.
In no event will our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00) or the amount you have paid us in the prior twelve (12) months.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
